Writing...
The thing about writing, to me, is that most of my writing is pretty much within the realm of the Mary Sue genre, mostly because I'm that kind of fangirl who wants the romance with a canonical character, who wants to write of a character not too unlike myself who does these wondrous things with these cool or admirable characters. Yeah, it's a kind of wish fulfillment.
However, I'm also somewhat along the way in creating my own fictional universe, complete with Tolkien-esque maps and histories and epic plots and grand characters... or maybe just go the Babylon 5 route and have regular characters be thrust into epic events and having to deal with it. I don't know. I do know it will involve elves somehow. ;)
I'm still debating if I want to post my stories here for critique and such. Part of me likes the idea of seeing what people think. Part of me fears it. So we'll see. :)
