This handsome rogue was featured on the cover of The Medieval Virgin, vol. 1, iss. 1. Like his brother next door, he started out as a horse and was then drawn to be a dragon. Reinked in Photoshop, he was then attacked with bright shades of green, which were applied as highlights, and then I used a couple of granular textures to make his hide seem a bit more rough. The gold necklace and his eyes were left alone in that bit. Marc needed the dragon to be darker on the cover, so I fiddled with this guy a bit before having another darker go at things, but that dragon can be seen the page with the cover itself on it. I really like how he came out here with all the shading, including his eyes and the necklace.
