There are so many things to love about this image. It's a reproduction of an early Joe Madureira shot, one he'd done of Rachel Summers on a wraparound cover of Excalibur. I don't believe he had her right hand going where I put it for Siobhan. Now, the X-Men on XET wore movie-style leather outfits, which was interesting. Something of a bitch to actually figure out and color in, but it worked out in the end. I particularly like the shading around her legs, the stylized Phoenix symbol on her chest (and its shading), and her left hand in particular. I totally adore that left hand for some reason... maybe because I love fingerless gloves and because I got the shading 100% the way I wanted it. I'm not so keen on her hair, however, or the weird line on her face which was taken from the original JoeMad image. Also not quite sure about the muscles in either upper arm, but oh well. Overall, I like the image.
