This is probably one of my most favorite sketches ever. This is Sarah during her tenure as a student. The original pose was taken from an actress's photo in the original-sized TV Guide, but I'm sorry to say I don't remember who it was... not anyone hugely famous like Sarah Michelle Gellar, even tho there's a very vague resemblance. This is actually the second attempt I did on this image. The first time I did it, I really didn't like how her hair came out, so I went back and redid all of it. I like how you can see some of the tendrils about and such. And yes, there is a smudge in the upper right corner. I think my favorite bit of this image is the bit that just grabs you from the get-go: her eyes. Even in the inked copy, her eyes are still the most striking bits of the whole thing. I also like the shading of her choker and also how it came out in the inks.
