This sketch of then-Major Sheppard was drawn from a poster of him in one of the Stargate magazines. I like his eyes. I know they're crooked in the image, but that's the way they were in the photo as well (I checked). In terms of how it came out, I think I went with a more minimalist sort of syle this time, only shading stuff in where I utterly had to, and of course doing a bit more with his hair. With a mop-top like that, it's hard to get properly in pencil, as it's very dark and I kept going back and adding more dark lines to get it to the right sort of darkness without sacrificing the actual highlights that allowed you to see exactly what his hair looked like. Sorry about the watermark covering up those gorgeous lips. It was an automated process that centered the watermark. Oh well.
