This is Jean Grey on XET prior to her ascension as a mutant or her corruption into Madelyne Pryor, the Black Queen. This Jean is clearly unsure of herself and her situation in this one, although she could get up in front of a news conference and go toe-to-toe with Magneto on the subject of mutations. She's wearing an oversized cardigan to hide her figure, and she needs glasses there. The book she is holding is Kings of Celtic Scotland by Benjamin T. Hudson, PhD. I have one of the few extant copies that's autographed. Dr. Hudson was my first-year history professor at Penn State, so I love mentioning that lovely book. You can buy it on Amazon (although it ain't cheap), and it's a really good read. Very approachable for the non-history-geek.
In this image, I like how Jean's hair came out, and a little bit about her right hand. I had to model that one myself, but I'm still not 100% in love with that. The glasses are okay, for a change.
