This is the first sketch I did using the ultra-fine .3 mm Pentel mechanical pencils (their cases are red and their leads come in the ones with the brown cap). I believe the original image was in one of the many magazines published just prior to the release of the first Harry Potter movie. I particularly like the detailing on Hedwig, the Gryffindor crest, the scarf, and Harry's hair. I don't think I really got Daniel Radcliffe's face quite right, and yes, I hate drawing glasses.
