These two images are of Pern-style dragons. The basic pose was emulated from an artist associated with a fan-Weyr named Druinne. I'm sad to say that I don't remember who did the original style, but that I really did like how she did dragons' heads and necks. These were colored forever ago using something pre-Photoshop, hence the poor quality of the jpeg artifacting and the fact I missed a couple of spots at the top of the right wing. Oh well.
