This is an original piece I did in 98 when I'd written a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanfic involving my Jerilyn character. It's a holempathic crystal that gave someone a sense of Jerilyn's being, a concept I cheerfully 'borrowed' from the X-Men comics. While it's not my best piece anymore, I pretty much keep it around because I still like the 3D Seal of Rassilon in the middle of the crystal and the hand-drawn Phoenix. This was hand-drawn and inked, with colored pencil that was blended with a blending pencil. Kinda neat technique I used a lot in 98 and 99.
