Sergeant Siler's pose is based on the fact that half the time you see Stunt Coordinator Dan Shea on-camera in Stargate in character as Siler, he's either getting shot, beat up, injured, or already in the infirmary for one of the above. A great sport by all reports, his character is as much a part of the series as any of the others, even if we don't know his first name or anything else about him. I tended to include him and Harriman in my Stargate stories just to keep the idea going.
