Don S. Davis is just so utterly cool. Great storyteller, wonderful artist, generally a down-to-earth actor. This picture of Hammoned is perfect for the style I was trying to envision, even if it kinda looks like he's trying to suck in his gut. I like the shading on his trousers, and the little stars on his epaulets, even tho his character is now a two-star general. Don had some very nice things to say about this and about the other ones I'd done, since he seemed interested to see the whole range of them. We were gawping at each other's sketchbooks the whole time before he signed this one.
