This image is of Dr. Benton Quest (ripped from the Jonny Quest cartoon - The Real Adventures edition) and my character Jerilyn. The pose was based on the cover of an issue of Beauty and the Beast, an X-Men-related comic featuring the Beast and Dazzler. The image was inked by Pamela Thalner, and I did the colors.
This was when I was transitioning Jeri from a strawberry blonde to a redhead with golden highlights. I like the metallic bits of Jeri's dress. It's actually the wedding dress that I envisioned her wearing at their wedding, but he's wearing one of his usual TRA turtlenecks. I dunno why I didn't draw him wearing his grey wedding tux. I also like the whiter streak in his hair. Thought that came out decently. In retrospect, I'm sure I could do a LOT better on the colors. Ah well. I do know I don't like her left thumb. It ain't right, darnit.
